Lars Scharp (born 1982) began his career in the hospitality industry at just 15 years old. He trained under culinary greats such as Paul Fagel, Edwin Kats at the Amstel Hotel, and Robert Kranenborg at the acclaimed Vossius. He also worked alongside Stefan van Sprang at Aan de Poel, where he witnessed the restaurant earn both its first and second Michelin stars. Throughout his journey, Lars further refined his skills at respected establishments including Het Bosch, Hotel Blake, and Groot Paardenburg. Each step shaped his perfectionist approach and deepened his passion for refined, French-inspired cuisine.
